Wuhan Yihua Ship Design Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise wholly owned by Hunan Xiangchuan Heavy Industry, in collaboration with the Industry Group of Wuhan University of Technology, the National Water Transport Safety Engineering Technology Research Center, and the technical team of the former Wuhan Nanhua High-Speed Ship Company.
The company was established in August 2014, located next to the Yujiaotou campus of Wuhan University of Technology, currently has more than 30 professional technical personnel, including nearly 20 professors, associate professors, and senior engineers. The core design team has over 20 years of experience in ship design and construction, has published 3 academic works, and holds 8 patents.
The company fully leverages its talent and technological advantages, focusing on learning and applying domestic and international shipbuilding technologies and research achievements, targeting new demands in the domestic and international shipping markets, and is committed to the research and design of high-speed passenger ships, conventional passenger ships, government service vessels, yachts, new energy-powered ships, and intelligent ships.
Currently designed representative works include a new type of 199-passenger high-speed passenger ship; 19-meter transport ship, 28-meter environmental protection ship, 30-meter cable protection ship, and other pure battery-powered vessels; 280-passenger, 335-passenger, and 380-passenger luxury tourist ships; 55-meter super yacht (Greece); amphibious transport vehicles, etc.
