As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, the moon is getting rounder, and feelings are deepening. The Mid-Autumn Festival in 2024 is about to arrive. Since the new round of state-owned enterprise reform, the vast number of cadres and employees of Xiangchuan Heavy Industry, under the strong leadership of the State Control Group, have united and worked hard, pragmatically advancing, solidifying their main responsibilities and businesses, and demonstrating the responsibilities of state-owned enterprises. The company has achieved good results in corporate governance, project construction, and operational effectiveness. Currently, there are 7 ships under construction in the shipbuilding sector and 9 projects under construction in the steel structure sector. At the same time, Xiangchuan Heavy Industry is actively planning the transformation and upgrading of its product industry, achieving initial results in internationalization and marketization, and celebrating three firsts: the first yacht construction project, with the current 55-meter super yacht construction project progressing smoothly and receiving high praise and recognition from the shipowner; the first oil tanker construction project, marking a solid step forward in the expansion of new ship types and new business in our shipbuilding sector; and the first overseas order signed on June 25, when our company successfully signed its first overseas order for a 55.8-meter refined oil tanker in Singapore, with the order settled in US dollars, marking Xiangchuan Heavy Industry's successful first step into the overseas market.
