On the morning of July 26, a ceremony blending modernity and tradition was held in the hull workshop of Changsha Guokong Group Xiangchuan Heavy Industry Company. With the precise ignition of the CNC plasma cutting machine, the construction project of a 30-meter full-turn tugboat officially commenced. This is not just a simple groundbreaking ceremony, but a solid step for Hunan's shipbuilding industry into the global market.
This tugboat, with a total length of 30.5 meters, is equipped with two advanced full-turn propellers, aimed at revolutionizing the efficiency and safety of port operations. Its design fully considers the needs of modern shipping, perfectly combining flexibility and power. This is our company's first international tugboat order, and following the successful undertaking of the 55-meter super yacht project in Greece, it marks another deep cooperation with Aikelong Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., showcasing our increasing competitiveness in the global shipbuilding market.
The subsequent ceremony was even more special. By the banks of the Xiangjiang River in Jinggang Ancient Town, Wangcheng District, Changsha, a 55-meter super yacht was successfully launched at 10:18. Since the start of construction on November 11, 2022, this super yacht has undergone a year and a half of meticulous crafting, with a total weight of 1,081 tons. It features luxurious interiors and top-notch equipment meeting European standards, providing guests with an ultimate luxury experience. Meeting the RINA comfort additional class notation, it not only boasts excellent performance but also pursues extreme comfort and quietness in design, destined to sail in the azure waves of the Aegean Sea in Greece.
The continuous cooperation between Xiangchuan Heavy Industry and Aikelong Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. not only demonstrates the deep partnership between the two parties but also marks an important appearance for us on the international shipbuilding stage.
