Hunan Xiangchuan Shipbuilding Industry Co.,Ltd (referred to as "Xiangchuan Heavy Industry"), formerly known as Changsha Shipbuilding Factory in Hunan Province, was founded in 1945 and is now a wholly-owned state-owned enterprise controlled by Changsha State-owned Assets Industry Holding Group Co., Ltd. With a registered capital of 0.2 billion yuan and an area of more than 600 mu, the factory is located on the bank of the Xiangjiang River in Jinggang Ancient Town, Wangcheng District, Changsha City. It is a large ship production base in Hunan Province and a shipbuilding enterprise with excellent facilities and equipment in the central and southern regions of China. Since the establishment of the factory, more than 1000 military and auxiliary ships such as landing craft amphibious vehicles, unmanned ships, and civil ships such as official ships, passenger ships, engineering ships, new energy ships and yachts have been delivered.
